A great many of us may know the story of Thor's Hammer, all thanks to the Marvel films.
Now, while some may call it the Hammer of Thor, others call it Mjolnir, & still others call it Meow Meow; with certainty, one knows that no matter the name given to it, that in order to wield it; one must be worthy. So, regardless of the name its given, what we do know is; it was crafted by the order's of Odin & enchanted with a binding, "Whosoever holds this Hammer, if they be worthy..."
However, there remains a lesser known instrument of the Gods. Did you ever notice Odin's Spear in the Marvel Films?
That spear is Gungnir. And it possesses a unique power of sorts. It is said that any oath sworn by the tip of Gungnir cannot be broken. In this sense it binds the oath taker to their oath.
